18 Jun Winters Day
Winery Visits
Winery visits are the best! Who doesn’t love a winery?!? And South Australia provides some of the best wine around. Although I’m not much of a drinker just the vibe of a winery makes my heart sing. It’s rustic yet full of life, cold yet oozes warmth, sparse yet filled with love, that’s what I love about them, the contrast. Often they’re places filled with history, hard work and love, they hold family history that goes back for generations, years of blood, sweat and tears to combine the perfect drop, to find the ultimate blend, to find perfection in a bottle.
This beautiful winters day at the winery was just exquisite! My day was filled with love and compassion I hadn’t felt before. A spine tickling warmth that shook my core, all because three gorgeous ladies wanted to make a difference in the world and I’m so thankful I got to be part of it. I attended the Biggest Morning Tea at the beautiful Glen Ewin Estate located in the Adelaide Foot Hills. The day was magnificent. We were surrounded by picturesque views, seated in a character rich venue affectionately named ‘The Pulpshed‘ and engulfed in the love of mankind. What’s not to love?!?
The Biggest Morning Tea is a fundraising event held alongside the Cancer Council. It’s an opportunity to raise funds for much needed research for a cure for cancer. Everyone I know has been touched by cancer in some way. This heartbreaking disease is crippling to most families and if I have an opportunity to donate, I always will. You can donate via the link here if you wish > Cancer Council There were silent auctions, raffles, wine walls and so much more! Everyone walked away with something all while making a difference to someone’s life.
Here’s some of the pics of my outfit from the day… As respect for all the guests I’ve chosen not to share the event proceedings.
It was freezing! Although the sun was shining the wind was cold and the earth was frosty. I went with layers, no surprises there! Ha! Boots, scarf, all the accessories! Here’s a close up of the details. You all know how much I love my Details… 😜
